Monti played David Grant on Guiding Light for three years. He won the Emmy for Oustanding Daytime Younger Actor in 1993. He won the Soap Opera Digest Award for Oustanding Male Newcomer. Monti portrayed Justus Ward on General Hospital. Monti enjoys painting, writing, and composing. He is a licensed pilot and also plays the piano. Monti recently published a book of his poems and etchings, Soul and the Strategic Defense Initiative. He grew up in Louisiana. Related links:
