Beth Ehlers

Beth Ehlers joined Guiding Light in 1987. She originated the role of Harley Davidson Cooper. She left the show in 1993 and rejoined the show in 1997.

Beth grew up in New York City and begin appearing in television commercials at the age of nine. She attended Syracuse University for one year then moved to New York City to pursue an acting career. She has appeared on the series Best Times, and in the feature films Hiding Out and The Hunger. She appeared in the television movie Family Reunion, on In Defense of the Kids and Mystery on Fire Island.

Beth was born on July 23 in Queens, NY. In 1991, Beth married Dr. William Parsons. They later divorced and Beth had an off-screen relationship with her onscreen love, Mark Derwin (who played A.C. Mallet). On March 22, 1996 she married Matthew Christian, who is a sports video editor. Beth and Matthew have one son, Henry Jack Christian, who was born on May 21, 1999. They currently reside in New York.

  • Admitted she had a secret celebrity crush on Tom Cruise since she was 12 or 13.
