Mark Pinter was born on March 7 in Decorah, Iowa. He is 6'1" and has hazel eyes. He is married to Colleen Zenk-Pinter, who plays Barbara Ryan on As The World Turns. Colleen and Mark have a "hers, mine, and ours" situation with six children between them. Mark's children from his first marriage are his daughters, Siri and Hannah, and his son, Dylan. Dylan and Hannah are twins. Colleen has a daughter, Kelsey, from her first marriage. Together they have a son, Morgan, and daughter, Georgia. They married on August 9, 1987. Mark is a veteran of five soap operas. On Guiding Light he played the role of Mark Evans from 1981 to 1983. On As The World Turns he played the role of Brian McColl from 1984 to 1987. Mark had roles on Loving and Love of Live. His most recent daytime role was as Grant Harrison on Another World, leaving the show in March 1999. A graduate of Iowa State University, he went onto Wayne State University where he received a Master's degree. He's been appearing on daytime dramas since 1979. In 1996, Grant won a Soap Opera Digest award for Best Villain. In his free time he enjoys golf, gardening, and skiing. Related Links:
