Occupation: Nurse Ailments: Annie is an alcoholic and was addicted to painkillers at one time. Trivia: Annie was a bigamist. She got involved in a drug deal with her husband Eddie Banks. He took the rap for the deal and went to jail. Annie faked her death and left him high and dry. She then married and divorced Rick Bauer and Joshua Lewis. With the help of Reva Shayne, Eddie found Annie and interrupted her wedding to Alan Spaulding. She was then arrested, but escaped from prison. On her way out of town she kidnapped Reva Shayne and hired a private plane. She tied Reva up, pushed out the pilot (who was wearing a parachute) and then parachuted out of the plane herself. She hasn't been seen since. Reva ended up crashing in the plane, surviving, and washing up on an island. On the island she met the reclusive Sean McCullough, who helped her get off the island and gave her money to return to Springfield. Once Reva got back to Springfield she found out she'd been cloned! Annie went to an island to lay low. There she met Teri DeMarco. They became friends. There was an accident and Teri ended up in a coma. Annie took on Teri's identity and had plastic surgery to look like her, and returned to Springfield as Detective Teri DeMarco from the Detroit police department. Reva and Josh investigated the situation. After the real Teri DeMarco came out of her coma the full truth was revealed. (The real Teri DeMarco presumedly lives in Detroit once again.) After being found innocent of the charges against her, Annie stayed in Springfield. Her relationship with Alan was on the rocks though. Annie decided to take Lizzie out of town (since she felt she could be a better parent than Beth), but Alan and India were able to rescue Lizzie. Annie escaped with the help of Sam, an old friend of Hart's, and was last seen on July 20, 1999. |
