It was all a misunderstanding though, and when Ross returned home in the morning, he and Blake made up and they made love. After years of being unable to get pregnant, Blake found out she was expecting. She didn't know who the father of her twin boys was though. Finding out Rick was the father of one twin and Ross of the other, she faked the test results, leading both men to believe Ross was the father of both boys. The truth came out though and Rick was revealed as Kevin's dad. However, Annie Dutton told Ben Warren that she tampered with Blake's test results and made Kevin out to be Rick's son, when both boys were really Ross'. Ben revealed this information to Blake and Ross at a time when the Marlers were fighting and Rick threatened to sue for custody of Kevin. The information was revealed in 1998.
