Who is your all-time favorite GL character?
REVA SHAYNE LEWIS LEWIS SPAULDING COOPER LEWIS
Why?
She can do it all. Whatever the writers have in store for her, there is no question, that she will continue to knock us off our feet.
She is always exciting and interesting. You never know what she'll do next.
She is so adventurous, but also, she is a loving and caring person.
She is my all-time favorite character because she is so entertaining and versatile in her many roles as wife, mother, victim, etc. She is so "durable" and has that air of down-home common sense that we all sometimes need or wish we had!
She's funny, fresh, loyal, sensitive, loving, and absolutely a joy to watch.
She's always so vibrant and full of energy.
Because nobody has ever been through as much in their life as this woman has and still been able to hold her head up high, and bounce back from it all smelling better than ever. If we all could learn a thing or two it would be from Reva Shayne, never say never, never look back, never let them see your fear, and above all, never let it get you that far down that you could never get back up again! Love her, lots!
She is the best and most exciting character on Guiding Light. She is one woman who will never quit and knows that those you love are the most important people in our lives.
I love her personality, her feistiness, her warmth.
She's got spunk and she's tough for a woman.
She has remained who she is from the beginning.
I think that she is the bomb! She has so many sides to her that makes her appeal to the audience in that she is realistic.
Reva's strength, her determination, her facing the challenges in her life head-on and the love she has for her family and friends all are traits we all should strive to behold in our own lives.
She has more spirit than all the rest put together.
Her undying love for Josh always shined through every single story line she was involved in.
She is so strong and loyal to her family, she knows how to have fun and be brave and sexy and she and Josh have the most wonderful love story that has ever come out of daytime soaps. It is a one of a kind love story and it is due to the strong character that Kim Zimmer has created all these years. Long live Reva.
Reva because she is Reva.
She says what she feels and her family always comes first.
She leads an exciting life, has a great husband, and doesn't let anyone or anything stand in the way of her happiness.
She is like the come back kid.
She is more real than any other character. She wasn't born into money, has been through some hard times, loves her husband and children and knows the best way to get even with people.
The character is brazen and beautiful, never a dull moment with Reva, she won't have it.
I love Reva because she's one part hellcat, one part Okie.
You can expect the unexpected from her.
I cry with her, laugh with her, she's the best. I like her feistiness and her determination to do what needs to be done.
She has this tender side for Bud and her kids, she's human and makes mistakes. There's just something captivating about her.
She is and always has been dynamite. She does equally well portraying a sassy, shamless diva and a nurturing, devoted mother and wife. She makes me laugh and cry without fail and she works so well with all of the characters.
The one chracter who keeps me caring the most about what happens to her, even when she's being a royal pain, is Reva Shayne.
She lives life to the fullest - played hard and loved hard - and although she made incredible mistakes that would have knocked out most anyone else, she always came back stronger. She always took responsibility for her mistakes and never blamed anyone else for what she did wrong. She was always the first to laugh and the first to cry and didn't mind that people saw her highs or her loves.
She does crazy things but they always seem believable when she does them! I love that she's always loved the same man. This gives the character depth.
Reva Shayne Lewis is a classic, a living legend...she's great.
She is so unpredictable you never know what she is going to do or say when she is on - you just know that it will be interesting.
She's a spitfire, so full of life, and has made the show very exciting countless times. Often I can't wait to see what she'll do next. Reva, you ROCK!
Reva is the spark and life of Guiding Light.
Reva throws so much into the show. She has made things exciting. I was and still am being drug back for more.
Comments about Kim:
I like that Kim Zimmer is committed to family in her personal life as well, being married to the same man for 20 years and always wanting to spend time with her children. I respect that. I've never met her myself, but I know people who have, and they say she's very warm and open and always happy to greet her fans. She seems real, ya know? I love her, she's great!
Kim Zimmer is a great actress who adapts so well to any situation her character finds herself in. She also makes weaker or less talented actors/actresses look better when she's in scenes with them.
Kim Zimmer does a terrific job of portraying Reva. I don't think any other actress could play Reva's character as well.
Kim Zimmer is the best actress on daytime and I watch 6 soaps. She is so versatile and can play any storyline they throw at her! I cannot WAIT until the cloning story starts in full force!
Kim Zimmer is definitely a credit to her profession. She is so dimensional and her eagerness and enthusiasm is incredible to watch. I look forward to her acting every week day!
REVA - just because I enjoy watching Kim Zimmer at work!
Kim Zimmer does an excellent job portraying the character, and she deserves a zillion Emmys for her incredible talent!
Kim Zimmer adds life, character, and zest to a show that sometimes tries my patience.
