I realize that the powers-that-be wanted to change this couple, but allowing Drew to just walk away from recrimination after all the devious deeds she did to get Jesse away from Michelle leaves me frustrustrated. Drew was the one who encouraged Michelle to give into Danny's advances on the pretense that she would be saving Jesse, Bill and Drew's lives. Michelle gave in and while doing so realized, here is a man who would take on his own mob family to protect his brother's murderer. Jesse was harboring feelings for Drew since Michelle was at the Blind Institute. When he went with her to California after her father's death, that relationship started changing. Bill noticed it also, only Michelle was the last to know. As for Drew and Jesse now, how can he claim that lies and schemes ruined his relationship with Michelle? He started his relationship with Drew without even waiting the time frame Jesse and Michelle agreed upon. He just jumped into bed with Drew, and while Michelle did the same thing, it was a set up. Drew and Danny knew it was to keep Jesse away from Michelle, to save his life! Jesse chose to sleep with Drew after he found out she slept with Danny! Not too much left for Michelle. Drew did her numbers on Jesse for over and year and he finally fell for them. Well if Jesse can stand being Drew's "whipping post" and all that shrieking I say more power to him. I personally think Michelle and he should reconcile and see just what keeps them together. Also get Jesse a "backbone", Drew leads him around on a very short leash! With Michelle he had purpose and direction, with Drew he is also her errand boy for Max. I anxiously await the day Jesse and Michelle both come to their senses. |
